If you care about how travel feels, not just how it looks, you’re in the right place.
For much of my career, I traveled constantly for work across pharmaceutical and biotech roles, first as a scientist, later in strategy and business development. I saw extraordinary places, stayed in beautiful hotels, and mastered the logistics of life on the road. And yet, like many high-performing travelers, I often returned home more depleted than restored.
Jet lag that lingered for weeks. Sleep disrupted. Routines abandoned. A sense that something essential had been left behind somewhere between departure and return.
Eventually, stress-related health challenges forced a reset. Prioritizing my wellbeing stopped being optional and became foundational. I began paying close attention to how travel affected my body, energy, and mental clarity, and not just during the trip, but long after.
What I discovered was quietly empowering. Many of the factors that determine whether travel depletes or restores you are actually within your control, if you design for them.
That realization changed what I do, how I plan, and ultimately why Born on a Saturday exists today.
We design experiences that support your wellbeing from the inside out:
the right hotel in the right location, rooms chosen for quiet and natural light, pacing that allows you to feel present rather than overscheduled, structure where it helps and spaciousness where it matters.
Clients often tell us their trips feel different. They are calmer, more grounded, easier to move through, even when the itinerary is full.
Not because less is happening, but because everything is aligned.
Born on a Saturday offerings takes several forms, all centered on intentional living and travel:
Wellness-forward itineraries that allow you to experience the world without disconnecting from yourself, so you return home energized, clear, and changed in the ways you hoped.
Advisory on creating guest experiences that genuinely support wellbeing not just aesthetically, but physiologically and emotionally.
Mindful writing workshops designed as creative resets with structured space to slow down, process, and reconnect with your own voice
It isn’t about doing more. It’s about choosing better.
I was actually born on a Saturday.
To me, Saturday represents ease, renewal, and autonomy, the day that belongs to you. A day with enough structure to feel grounded and enough openness to follow curiosity. A day where presence replaces pressure.
That is the feeling I design for, whether it’s a weekend escape, a complex multi-country journey, or a year of thoughtfully spaced travel integrated with your personal wellness goals.
Not just beautiful trips but restorative ones.
When I’m not traveling, I split my time between Philadelphia and Avalon, New Jersey - training for marathons, experimenting in the kitchen, hosting friends and family, and constantly noting the small details that make a place feel special.
Because in the end, the details are what transform a trip into something you carry with you long after you return home.
If you are someone who wants to travel well, not just far, we’ll likely get along beautifully.
